Inshore Congers

Fishing just a mile off shore we are getting congers on rough ground up to 50lb. Here we see young Ben being helped by his dad to capture his first large eel. The colder water has also brought a spate of large channels and cod upto 11lb but the lunkers have yet to make their appearance close inshore. The weather is still beating us most days and I am looking forward to getting out more than 1 mile to do some serious fishing!
